On May 29-31, the Beijing Bus & Truck Expo 2019 officially kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center (New Hall). Themed with “Intelligent Leadership, Green Mobility”, the show has showcased the world's latest technologies and achievements of buses and coaches.
As the leader of China’s bus industry and the world's bus builder, Yutong not only launched the ZK6907H of new 7 Series, but also brought four star models, namely the T7 3.5T gasoline version, new high-end intelligent connected city bus U10, L4 self-driving bus and hydrogen fuel cell bus F8. The product lineup and the presence of leading technological achievements fully demonstrated Yutong's powerful technical strength and industry status.
In 2021, China will fully implement the CHINA VI emission standard. Guangdong, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Shanghai and other cities even declared that they would implement the emission standard as of July 1, 2019. The Yutong new 7 series is developed to respond this requirement and meets the latest market demand.
As Yutong’s 7th generation medium-sized rear-engine coach, the new 7 series is a modular product lineup based on new platform through technological innovation and structural innovation. It includes two emission levels, CHINA V and CHINA VI, with the length of 8.2 meters, 8.8 meters and 9 meters and so on, which can meet the diversified needs of the medium-sized coach market.
The new 7 Series adopts a number of industry-leading technologies, boasting good appearance, safety, reliability, fuel efficiency and ride comfort. Through the large scale and technological innovation, it can significantly reduce the costs of end users while increasing customer value and improving customers’ experience.
In addition to the new 7 series, Yutong also brought its star products to the show to accurately benchmark different market segment.
The Yutong T7 3.5T gasoline version of the business purpose vehicle was officially launched in November 2018. As another masterpiece of Yutong's high-end business purpose vehicle family, the T7 3.5T gasoline version, while inheriting the legacy of the previous version, has achieved upgrades in terms of ride comfort, safety and other aspects so as to meet the diversified needs of users.
Featuring excellent safety, reliability, eco-friendliness and ride comfort, the new high-end intelligent connected city bus U10 is attractive in appearance and full of scientific and futuristic sense. As a full electric city bus, U10 boasts lightweight body and high energy density batteries with low energy consumption and long driving range.
In addition, Yutong also exhibited its L4 autonomous driving bus and the 8-meter hydrogen fuel cell bus F8, which represented Yutong's layout of the future market development trend, and its insight on the industry under the new era.
Just half month ago, the “5G Smart Bus of Intelligent Island” project built by Yutong was officially launched in Zhengzhou on May 17. On the open road of the Intelligent Island, the L4 Yutong autonomous driving bus started its trial run.
Last but not least is F8, Yutong’s hydrogen fuel cell bus, which is stylish and has a sense of technology. In respect of its performance, the weight of the fuel cell is reduced by 79% and the volume by 189%. The protection level of the fuel cell system reaches IP67. It can achieve the low temperature start-up at minus 18 degree Celsius, and the heating time is reduced by 18.7 minutes, greatly improving the usage experience of the vehicle in winter time.
