The 2^nd Asian Youth Games was held at the gymnasium of Nanjing Olympic Sports Center on August 16-24, 2013. More than 2,300 athletes from 45 countries and regions of Asia participated in this big event. As the leading brand of China’s bus industry, there were 146 Yutong buses directly involved in the transportation service of the Games.

Athletes are getting on the Yutong buses

Among these buses, 70 units of ZK6122HNQ1 Yutong coaches were used to carry referees and athletes, and another 76 units of ZK6125HNG2 Yutong city buses were responsible for the transportation of working staff of the Games inside and outside the Asian Youth Games Village. Both two buses are the classic models of Yutong buses, which feature the combination of safety, environment-friendliness, comfort and aesthetics, meeting the stringent requirements of the Asian Youth Games on commuting vehicles.

During this period, Yutong has set up three on-site emergency service teams specially for the Games and equipped them with four service vehicles so as to make them arrive at the site and solve the eventual problems as soon as possible. In respect of the urgently needed spare parts, Yutong would also spare no effort to meet the needs through allocating all its resources on services to ensure the smooth operating of the buses.

Serving the Asian Youth Games is only the small part of Yutong’s numerous service guarantee work for big events over the years. The successful hosting of Guangzhou Asian Games, the Beijing Olympics, Shanghai World Expo and other large-scale activities were related to the efforts of Yutong service staff.
