The China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses Trucks & Components was held on May 16, 2012. At the exhibition, Yutong launched the school bus ZK6726DX3, which is also the first school bus in China complying with the new national standard. Through the exhibition, Yutong showcased not only its highest technical achievements in researching school buses, but also its determination in boosting the school bus undertaking.

During the launch ceremony, Wang Wenbing, vice general manager of Yutong Bus, pointed out the ZK6726DX3 is a professional school bus product carefully built according to the new national standard and based on the powerful strength of Yutong’s state-level technical center. With years of experience on vehicle design and production, it provides guarantee for children and pupils in terms of both active and passive safety
The new national standard for professional school buses came into force on May 1, 2012. After that, a host of bus makers in China took full use of their capabilities and began to develop school buses complying with the new standard. Relying on its powerful technical strength and years of R&D experience and after rigorous tests, Yutong launched the first school bus in China complying with the new standard, featuring many specific equipments, like school bus sign light, stop warning sign, softened seats and separate walls, safety door in the rear, first-aid box, running recorder, surveillance system and so on. Meanwhile, all the parameters meet the high requirements of the new national standard.
