Huang said the handover of city buses is a new accomplishment of the development of bilateral friendly relationship. The cooperation between the two countries in different areas are stepping forward firmly, China is willing to help Mozambique alleviate the poverty. The 72 city buses presented by Chinese government are our practical support to address the public transport difficulty the Mozambique government is facing.

It is learned that the Public transport Company of Mozambique needs at least 300 city buses to cover the public transportation demands in Maputo city and province. But the on-road city buses right now are only dozens units, which are far from enough.
