30-odd people of Busworld delegation and overseas press media, headed by Mr. Marc, president of BAAV, visited Yutong Industrial Park on May 7th, whom were warmly welcome by Mr. Niu Bo, GM of Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wang Feng, director of Yutong International Business Dept. Niu delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the reception. Busworld Asia 2010 is a very important platform for exchange and communication in the industry and Yutong is dedicated to becoming an international bus brand, said Niu. He also hoped that the visitors would put forward their comments and suggestions for Yutong’s future development, since they are all experts or experienced people in bus industry. After learning that Yutong would expand the area of its industrial park and increase the production capacity to 50,000 units per year, Mr. Marc expressed with pleasure that he would like to visit Yutong once again in three years.  

Accompanied by Wang and other Yutong staff, the delegation visited the chassis workshop, final assembly workshop, electrocoating lines for bus chassis and body, experiment center, etc. During the visit, the overseas journalists carefully recorded the whole process and hoped that people from overseas bus industry would know more about Yutong through their cameras. Yutong has taken an important step forward in automated production, held a lead in R&D of advanced technology and made outstanding contribution to the career of energy-efficiency and environment-friendliness, said the visitors. With the six awards issued by BAAV in Busworld Asia 2010, Yutong becomes the biggest winner in the competition and lives up to the No. 1 bus brand in China.

Finally, Busworld delegation and foreign journalists went to Tengfei Square to see the show buses standing there and took collective pictures with Yutong staff. While shaking hands with Wang for farewell, Mr. Marc thanked Yutong for hospitality, appreciated the rapid growth of Yutong these years and hoped that the friendship between Busworld and Yutong would last forever.
